This project started as a major BP revision, in which nearly everything, except for the building foot print and FSR, was changed. The client brought in drawings for a massive English Manor style house, and requested to alter it to a Tuscan mansion. Extensive research was done to ensure that the architectural elements were designed in an authentic manner. As Tuscan houses originated from a region not remotely similar to the Pacific west coast, localized architectural details were carefully prepared, so that the building can perform well with low temperature and high humidity. This project was completed with Peter Rose Architecture and Interiors.
