Material juxtaposition drives this design: polished marble against matte plaster, warm brass details contrasting cool stone surfaces, geometric patterns softened by organic textures. The clients, a couple with sophisticated aesthetic sensibilities, wanted a home that felt collected over time rather than decorated all at once. We achieved this through careful curation of furnishings, custom millwork with Art Deco-inspired geometry, and a restrained palette that allows quality materials to speak for themselves. Every detail in the 5,000-square-foot interior was considered to create visual interest without overwhelming the clean-lined architecture.
